MRCY - Flicker
SUMMARY
"Flicker" blends surreal architecture with hypnotic physicality—a cinematic hall of mirrors.
Think Weapon of Choice-era Walken, but lost in a shapeshifting labyrinth where each room bends reality further.
A man unravels inside an endless, glitching building. Doors lead nowhere. Hallways fold into themselves. Reality flickers—space and time twist, pulling him deeper into chaos.
Shot through striking wide-angle lenses, the film slips between slow-motion dissociation and bursts of frantic movement. The location—a mutating, liminal prison of light, geometry, and eerie loops—becomes a character in itself.
It’s Kubrickian unease meets psychedelic disorientation, pulsing with the track’s beat.
Surreal. Hypnotic. Just the right amount of unsettling.
